Free books for kids!

Free books for kids!

Online shopping service Flubit.com is continuing its Book Month into September by asking children, parents and schools to get involved to support the National Literacy Trust.

To take part they want kids nationwide to draw a picture of a character from their favourite children’s book, parents or teachers to photograph it and email to [email protected]. For every picture sent, Flubit will donate £5 to the National Literacy Trust and will send a free children’s book to the parent or school to say thank you.

Bertie Stephens CEO and Founder of Flubit said, “With over 150 book reviews sent in by our customers and thousands of pounds raised for the National Literacy Trust our Book Month has already been a huge success. Now that the summer holidays are over we’d like to get kids, parents and schools involved to continue our celebration of books, support the NLT and raise even more money.”

For those parents or teachers that prefer to Tweet Flubit will also donate a £1 for every ‘micro review’ of a children’s book using hashtag #flubitbooks.

Pictures can be submitted to [email protected] and more information about the initiative can be found at http://www.flubit.com/books
