KS2 Assembly and PSHE Lesson Three: ‘Do something’

Did you know that one in every five children has learning challenges?
The My Way! campaign by First News aims to raise awareness about this fact and dispel the myth that these children are less intelligent and show that they can succeed. As My Way! Ambassador, Henry Winkler says: “Every child has brilliance inside them. Their job is to dig it out and give it to the world.”
First News has created a set of teaching resources to support teachers with the My Way! campaign in schools. These resources consist of three My Way! assemblies and three follow-on PSHE lessons to build on each theme back in the classroom. These resources have been produced to promote inclusion and friendship and help pupils to overcome learning challenges and reach their full potential, whatever their needs.
