ESCAL First News Sheffield Reading Challenge
The ESCAL First News Reading Challenge took place in March and April with 7000 pupils from Sheffield schools involved in six weeks of reading and writing news challenges. The project finished with the ESCAL First News ‘Have I Got News For You’ Event at Sheffield Town Hall on April 8th and 9th. Pupils from 40 schools took part in a collaborative day sharing their news reports, making new friends and taking on news challenges. They were two super days! Congratulations to everyone who took part.
